Business Impact
Less time spent coordinating inventory, customization, sales, purchasing, and financial records.
Faster, more consistent execution across the implemented retail workflows.
A shared view of product location, artist progress, sales activity, and financial status
VONTO’s products move through a complex retail journey. Bags and luggage may be received from suppliers, stored in the main warehouse, assigned to artists for customization, allocated to retailers on consignment, or sold through Shopify.
The business needed one reliable way to track product location, artist progress, approvals, sales, invoices, and payments throughout this journey. A standard inventory setup could not support the combination of creative customization and retail control required by VONTO.
OrkSync configured ERPNext around VONTO’s actual operating model.
We created dedicated inventory locations for VONTO, artists, and retail partners, then connected product movements with customization tasks, sales transactions, purchasing processes, and financial records.
This established one operational environment for managing the product journey from supplier receipt to customer delivery.
The main warehouse, artist locations, and retailer locations were configured as distinct inventory points.
Stock transfers and barcode or QR tracking provide traceability across goods receipt, artist allocation, returns, retailer distribution, and customer dispatch.
A tailored workflow connects each product with its assigned artist, customization status, relevant dates, remarks, and approval. Inventory transfers record when the product enters artist custody and when the approved item returns to the warehouse.
Separate workflows support Shopify orders and retail consignment. Shopify sales connect with ERPNext records and warehouse stock. Consignment inventory remains assigned to retailer locations until a confirmed sale or settlement triggers invoicing.
Vendor-specific purchase orders, goods receipts, and quality inspections control incoming stock. Accepted and rejected quantities are recorded before approved products become available for sale.
Purchasing and sales activity connects with invoices, payments, receivables, and payables. The finance team can track customer balances, retailer settlements, supplier obligations, and product profitability from the same system.
VONTO now manages its customized product journey within one connected ERPNext environment.
Warehouse teams can track stock across locations, artist activity is linked to product readiness, sales channels remain connected to inventory, and financial records reflect the underlying transactions.
OrkSync delivered a retail management system designed around how VONTO’s products actually move—from procurement and customization to sale, delivery, and payment.
